Downtown East is a one-block area along East Henderson Street, in Historic Downtown Cleburne, TX. A mecca for Antique shoppers, the block is home to five antique stores and the largest store on the block is the iconic Red Horse Antique Mall, a 22,000 square feet wonderland loaded to the brim with every treasure imaginable.

The Heartbeat of Downtown East is the Songbird Live Music Venue. The Songbird Sponsors a monthly series of music festivals called BLOCKFEST. These concerts are broadcast into the neighboring stores and to outside seating, creating a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy!

Songbird Live

Songbird Live is the crown jewel of our vibrant community, offering a unique listening room experience that brings professional musicians of all genres to the stage. With a history of producing 250 concerts, the Songbird with sponsor BLOCKFEST, a series of micro-festivals that will host genre-specific music events. Songbird Live provides an intimate setting for music lovers to enjoy exceptional performances in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Outside seating is also available at no charge.

ANTIQUES AND MUCH MORE

You can spend a lifetime exploring the antiques on the block, but if venture out, you'll find several of the shops offer boutique Women's Fashions and the resident art gallery is always showing new exhibits. Situated between the Johnson County Courthouse and Cleburne City Hall, this block has been in the center of the action since the turn of the last century.

Each Spring Downtown East hosts The Cleburne Arts Festival with dozens of artists and street vendors! Songbird Live hosts the festival's music lineup with big bands, jazz groups, blues bands and tribute bands on the steps of City Hall. This event brings out locals and visitors alike to relax in the Wine Garden and a Craft Beer Garden. Downtown East also hosts 4 Wine Walks each year, offering the opportunity to try wines from some the finest Texas vineyards while you browse the shops.
